As a member of the healthcare team here at Riverview Health, the Help Desk Technician demonstrates active patient advocacy to ensure all rights are identified and met for every patient. The Help Desk Technician encompasses all duties relating to providing exemplary customer service at Riverview Health. Outstanding customer service skills and understanding of confidentiality and productivity are required by the Help Desk Technician.

 

Help Desk Technician Job Functions:

  • Assist in desktop support
  • Deploy new computers
  • Respond to calls and escalate call as necessary
  • Support all hospital information systems

 

Help Desk Technician Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: Associate's degree in Information Systems or other related field
  • Minimum Experience: 2 years of experience in a help desk or PC support environment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Level of Education
    • Minimum: Associate's Degree in Information Systems or other related field or equivalent experience
      •  
    • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree and advanced certification, CCNA, MSCE, etc.

  • Level of Experience
    • Minimum: 2 years' experience in a help desk or PC Support environment
      •  
    • Preferred: Experience in a healthcare setting
